Grass Valley is in the middle of so many different areas to connect to for snow skiing, gold mining, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, and only short 90 minute drive to Reno and Lake Tahoe.  Grass Valley has vineyards and wineries galore, which are continuing to growing and become more popular. There are always festivals going on Grass Valley: From the fair to the Cornish Christmas — there are many to choose from!

If you are into live music, there are many of our local restaurants that have local bands that play all different types of music for everyone to enjoy.   Often, local wineries will also have bands on the weekends as they give tours and wine tasting,   Also, if you are into craft beers, Grass Valley has many brew houses to tantalize your hoppy taste buds.

If you are wanting a more relaxed pace of life, connecting with nature, want to spend less time in traffic,  just having a simpler life, Grass Valley may just be the place for you.  Although Grass Valley is smaller in size, we have a lively vibe!  We are a short drive to Sacramento, Truckee and Lake Tahoe, and there are many undeveloped, wide open spaces nearby.
